As the season kicks off this Saturday night, May 18th, Jennerstown Speedway Complex continues a tradition of paying tribute to the brave men and women that have made sacrifices to protect our freedom. “Armed Forces Appreciation Night” has also become “Opening Night 2019,” after rain forced the cancellation of action last week. When the gates open at 4pm on Saturday, all active and retired members of our United States Armed Forces will be honored with FREE admission to the Five Division Racing program! This yearly salute to the true heroes of our nation, is just one, small, way of saying “thank you” for such selfless, dedicated service to our country.
Racing begins at 6pm, with preliminary heat races and feature events for all five divisions of stock cars. The Martella's Pharmacies Late Models, Stoystown Auto Wreckers Modifieds, Tunstall Auto & Truck Repair Street Stocks, Farmers Union Co-Op Chargers, and Somerset Trust Company Fast 'n Furious 4-Cylinders will all be action.
