Hall of Fame Class of 2018 to be inducted Opening Night May 11th

 On Saturday, May 11th 2019 the 2019 racing season will officially begin at the Jennerstown Speedway Complex in Jennerstown, PA.  The nationally known, iconic landmark, will kick off the 2019 season with five divisions of racing to include the Martella’s Pharmacies Late Models, Stoystown Auto Wreckers Open Wheeled Modifieds, Tunstall Auto and Truck Repair Street Stocks, Farmers Union Co-Op Chargers and the Somerset Trust Company Fast N Furious Four Cylinders.

As a bonus to the five division action the Hall of Fame class of 2018 will be inducted into the Tri-Star Hall of Fame on the front stretch during intermission.  Mother nature was not kind in 2018 forcing the postponement of the induction ceremony that will now take place this Saturday. The 2018 inductees include: Bobby Henry, Rick Koontz, Paul Fess Sr, Jerry Price and Jack Sotosky, Ed Lynch Sr, Posthumously.

This Saturdays event, presented by Arsenberger Trucking, is just the first of an 18 week action packed race season that will conclude on Saturday September 21st.  Special events in 2019 include the return of the Super Cup Stock Car Series on Saturdays, July 13th and September, 14th. Also returning on September 14th will be the wicked fast Must See Racing Sprint Cars which made their inaugural visit in 2018 and proved to be a real crowd pleaser among the Jennerstown fans.  The most highly talked about event in 2018 will once again take place in 2019 with a monstrous purse making it the 2nd highest paying event in the country of its kind. The Motor Mountain Masters will return on Saturday August 10th 2019 paying a staggering $10,000 to win for one lucky late model driver. To date 35 drivers from across the country and Canada have committed to the 2019 Masters.  As if this racing schedule wasn't exciting enough, the Speedway will host the All Star Monster Truck Tour featuring the legendary “Big Foot” presented by Tri Star Somerset and Myers Well Service on Saturday, July 27th. This Saturday Gates open at 4pm with racing starting at 6pm.  Adult admission is just $10 and kids 12 and under are FREE! Parking will be $5 per car but you will receive 2 courtesy passes ($20 value) to return to the speedway for a later dated 5 division show.
